Purpose Built Facility
Powiswood Boarding Kennels nestles in the beautiful countryside between Falkirk and Stirling. A modern facility, completed in 2009 to the highest standards and well equipped to care for your furry family member with ample outdoor space for playing and exercise!
Individual Outer Pens
All our outer pen areas are covered by the main roof, protecting your dog from the rain and the rays from the sun on hot summer days. The sides of the pen are mesh to allow the fresh air and the sounds of the country to permeate around your pet.
Modern and Hygienic
Facilities are cleaned thoroughly and frequently throughout the day to ensure your dog lives in the cleanest and most comfortable conditions. We use pet-friendly cleaning solutions, and we wash bedding daily.
Underfloor Heated Kennels
Underfloor heating in all the kennels assures that the flooring remains warm at any time of year, no matter how cold it is outside. It also keeps a cooler temperature on a hot summer night, ensuring comfort for your dog all year round.
24Hr On Call Veternary Cover
We strive to produce a safe working environment for both our staff and our furry friends, however, sometimes unforeseen issues arise outside of our control, so we have made it a priority to always have access to a vet service in the unfortunate event something happens, to give peace of mind to everyone.
Family Operated
The kennels are owned by husband and wife team Iain and Louise Ronaldson. With years of experience in animal care, you can rest assured your furry family member will be cared for as if they were one of their own, along with their small team of staff experienced in dog handling and veterinary care.

We are situated between Falkirk and Stirling. Close to Plane Castle and accessible from either the Plean - Falkirk Road at Cowie or from the Bellsdyke road at South Alloa Road or Hamilton Road.

Morning: 10am - 12pm
Afternoon/Evening: 1pm - 3pm
